Choose a robe that is lightweight and easy to put on particularly if you have limited arm mobility.
Opt for fabrics like cotton, bamboo, flannel or micro terry that are breathable. Softness is key, particularly if you are wearing it over healing incisions.
When choosing a style–length and closure count. Opt for one that is mid or calf length for longer coverage or a short robe that falls mid-thigh. Short robes are the best to wear in bed. Wrap styles that tie are easiest to take on and off and to close.
